Sleek Dolphin can be counted on to help out his fellow inhabitants of the sea. Today he is leaping and playing near the shore when he stumbles upon a shark who has gotten himself stuck in the sands of the beach. "I swam too close to the shoreline" complains Sam Shark when Sleek swims closer to investigate. Sleek's offer of assistance is refused. Is Sam Shark wise to turn down help? Sleek leaves and Sam soon is worn out from trying to escape the sands of the beach on his own. Will Sleek return to help out or is this the end of Sam? The surprise ending is the result of much thinking by Sleek an old friend and his new friend Sam.
