About Speedy Publishing LLC - Our Corporate Profile

Founded in 2013 in Newark, Delaware, Speedy Publishing LLC is an independent publishing company with a strong focus on children’s nonfiction books for the PreK to Grade 12 education market. We publish print books, eBooks, study guides, activity books, reference titles, and digital learning content for schools, libraries, educators, parents, and young readers.

Our main publishing focus is curriculum-aligned children’s nonfiction, especially in science, social studies, history, geography, biographies, STEM, and early learning. Our books are created to help students build knowledge, improve reading confidence, and connect classroom topics to real-world ideas.

Speedy Publishing serves the United States and Canadian school markets, while also working with affiliated companies in Canada, Argentina, and the United Kingdom. Our extended team works remotely across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Philippines.

What We Publish

Speedy Publishing creates books for a wide range of readers, but our strongest area is educational content for children and young learners. Our children’s publishing program includes:

  • PreK to Grade 2 early learning books
  • Grade 3 to Grade 5 science and social studies books
  • Grade 6 to Grade 8 STEM and social studies books
  • Children’s biographies
  • Geography and cultures books
  • U.S. history and government books
  • Earth science, life science, physical science, and space science books
  • Activity books, journals, planners, and learning workbooks

We also publish general trade books, quick-reference materials, study guides, journals, notebooks, planners, puzzles, cookbooks, and selected adult and young adult titles.

Our goal is simple: to create useful, affordable, and accessible books that help readers learn more, ask better questions, and enjoy the reading process.

Curriculum-Aligned Educational Publishing

Speedy Publishing is proud to create books that support major U.S. education standards. Several of our educational imprints produce content aligned with standards and learning frameworks such as:

  • Common Core State Standards
  • College, Career, and Civic Life Framework for Social Studies State Standards
  • Next Generation Science Standards
  • State and district curriculum requirements

We also use Lexile measurements and grade-level reading targets to help make our books appropriate for the students who use them. This gives educators, librarians, and parents greater confidence when selecting titles for classrooms, school libraries, and home learning.

Our books are written with clear explanations, age-appropriate vocabulary, strong visual support, and useful nonfiction features such as glossaries, callouts, captions, and chapter-based organization.

The Speedy Publishing Online Reader

In addition to print and eBook publishing, Speedy Publishing offers the Speedy Publishing Online Reader, a digital database available through Mackin. The platform supports PreK to Grade 8 learning and includes more than 3,000 curriculum-aligned titles, with a focus on science, social studies, activity books, and age-appropriate nonfiction. It also offers keyword searching, simultaneous multi-user access, user analytics, complimentary MARC records, and new content added quarterly.

The Online Reader gives schools and libraries a practical way to provide broad digital access to Speedy Publishing titles. Students can read from school, home, or anywhere they have internet access, while educators can use the platform to support classroom lessons, independent reading, research, and content-area literacy.

Collections include:

  • Complete Collection: PreK to Grade 8
  • PreK to Grade 2 Collection
  • Grade 3 to Grade 5 Collection
  • Grade 6 to Grade 8 Collection

These collections help schools select content by grade band and subject need.

For schools and libraries, the Speedy Publishing Online Reader provides broad access to digital educational content through Mackin. Mackin describes the Online Reader as a database of titles that supports PreK to Grade 8 learning, with a strong focus on U.S. curriculum-based science and social studies content.

This digital option helps schools support:

  • Classroom reading
  • Independent research
  • Supplemental instruction
  • Home access
  • Library database collections
  • Multi-user student access

The platform gives educators another way to place Speedy Publishing content directly in front of students.

These imprints allow us to publish books across many subject areas while keeping clear audience targeting for educators, librarians, booksellers, and readers.

Our Publishing Approach

Speedy Publishing uses a hybrid publishing model. We work with writers, editors, designers, illustrators, researchers, and production staff to create books that are clear, useful, and visually engaging.

  • Strong nonfiction structure
  • Readable layouts
  • High-quality images and illustrations

We believe a good educational book should do more than present facts. It should help the reader understand the topic, remember the key ideas, and feel confident enough to keep learning.
