MS Nature of Science (Grade 6 - Grade 8)
Between 6th and 8th grade, students will be fine tuning their ability to conduct scientific experiments correctly. Remove every possibility of lab accident by learning how to use equipment correctly while conducting an experiment.
Identify testable scientific questions and then create predictions, hypotheses and theories (know the differences of each too!). Next, get exact measurements using scientific tools. Following that will be careful observation and data collection before coming up with results. The entire experimentation process is not the only topic discussed in the books under this category. There will be highlights on data analysis and drawing conclusions too.
Encourage your child to read curriculum based materials to add to their knowledge and improve the chances of academic success. Begin reading today!
