Faith had thought that she was doing the right thing. She had thought that telling the police about her attacker would protect other girls from being hurt like her. That's not quite how it worked out though. After she told the police about her attack the whole town had turned against her. They all thought that she was lying and that Sam was getting his life ruined by her. When she realized that she couldn't just accept defeat she went in search of the only other girl who knows the truth about Sam.
