Professionally Designed Templates

templThe #1 complaint from readers of books is "poor formatting". This is NOT the fault of the author. The problem is that the template and design created by the author is not done to specifications for great usability and navigation.

Speedy Publishing provides of 100 templates that can be used for any type of book. Create stunning eBooks, Print Books, Teaser Books and even promotional books using any of the templates found in these packages.

Ebooks in the format of an EPUB and MOBI file are very different from everyday documents created on word processors such as MSWORD and Open Office. These documents are created using word processors which have both the text and style mixed together. What this means is if you put a word in bold or italicize the word, it’s format is embedded into the document. So in essence regardless of which version of the word processor is used to open the file, the formatting will remain the same.

In an ebook file this is different.

A great template word document is when converted to these formats can be read on an eReader or mobile device and still keeps its original formatting.

This is why the templates that we provide are both essential and beneficial. They create the basis of a well designed eBook and Print Book.

Adding Graphics & Images
Using our templates you may embed images in your Word document – however there are clear rules that you must follow, such as ensuring the images are 300 DPI if you intend to convert that template to a POD template. Feel free to edit the fonts – however we cannot guarantee that the fonts will look the same when converted to eBook or Print. Our templates and the fonts we use are designed for the specific fonts to ensure maximum compatibility with eReader devices.
